size - セクションの大きさとその合計をリストする

size

[ -A | -B | --format= compatibility ] [ --help ][ -d | -o | -x | --radix= number ] [ --target= bfdname ] [ -V | --version ] objfile ...

GNU size ユーティリティは objfile 引数に与えられたオブジェクトファイルそれぞれに対して、セクションのサイ ズとその合計をリストする。デフォルトではオブジェクトファイルひとつ（書 庫が指定された場合はそれぞれのメンバー) について一行の出力を生成する。

--format compatibility

これらのうちのどれかのオプションを指定すると、 GNU size の出力形式を選択することができる。 System V 形式にするには -A または --format=sysv 、 Berkeley 形式にするには -B または --format=berkeley を指定する。 デフォルトは Berkeley 形式に似た一行出力である。

--help

指定可能な引数とオプションの要約を表示する。

--radix number

これらのオプションのどれかを指定すると、各セクションのサイズを表す数値 の基数を変更できる。 10 進数なら -d または --radix 10 、 8 進数なら -o または --radix 8 、 16 進数なら -x または --radix 16 である。 --radix number 形式で指定できるのは、以上の数値 (8, 10, 16) に限られる。 サイズの合計は常に 2 種類の基数で表示される。 -d か -x を指定した場合は 10 進と 16 進、 -o を指定した場合は 8 進と 16 進となる。

--target bfdname

objfile のオブジェクトフォーマットを bfdname として指定できる。このオプションはおそらく不要である。 size は多数のフォーマットを自動的に認識する。指定可能なフォーマットを知るた めの方法に関しては objdump ( 1 )を見よ。

--version

size 自身のバージョン番号に関する情報を表示する。
